Job Description: - Provisioning systems and design - Automating cloud infrastructure - Setting up, configuring, securing and maintaining servers in both cloud and bare metal - Assisting in software development and testing as necessary - DevOps and/or Cloud Administration - Participating and contributing to an integrated development team in an agile scrum environment - Processing mission data - Integrating capabilities into the cloud - Recommending cloud architectures - Collaborate cross-functionally with analysts, project managers, and other engineers Job Requirements: -AWSCloud Computing Skills: -Ability/experience to build and support AWS (Amazon Web Services) infrastructure resources using CloudFormation and CodePipeline (preferably GitLab) -Experience integrating applications and services in a cloud environment -Knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies:EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, VPC, ELB - Ability to work with Agile/Scrum methodology in a team environment - Experience with GIT and Jenkins - Experience with Orchestration Software/Tools (Kubernetes, Docker) Education/Experience Requirements: - SME Level: Expert consultant to top management typically with an advanced degree and 13+ years’ experience or bachelors with 15+ years of experience or equivalent. Requires highest knowledge and mastery of highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts. Viewed as a subject matter expert and within the field by peers within and outside the organization. - Senior Level: 10 years of experience in either (a) software engineering (b) software development or (c) systems engineering for information technology systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field. - Mid-Level: 5 years of experience in either (a) software engineering (b) software development or (c) systems engineering for information technology systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field. - Junior Level: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field. No experience required.
